I mean no one sell when share market is fall And no one bye when share market is high.So how can we get profits on shares
dear sir,
I think your doubt is worng, because the trading is going on vol. will shows that some body is buying.
I believe paying rent is dumb, I think the better option is to buy (mortgage) what do you think and why? A buddy and I shared a house through college..400/month plus utilities each, what do u think the mortgage was? Obviously they were making money on us…why not pay more and actually own something…or have a large sum payed off for resale should you choose? Pros/cons…all opinions/comments welcome. cheers
It really depends on your financial capability. If you have enough money to pay for an entire house (assuming the real estate market is not hot), then I suggest you purchase one. Renting a house is like flushing water down the toilet. Acquire a house when interest rates are low so that you will minimize your interest expense.
So I got this call from a time-share company while my cell was off, and when I called back the guy asked if I had an appointemnt. I told him no and he became very rude, refusing to answer questions about his company. But I still have the number. So, my question is, can I get into legal trouble if I call them back several times and day and insult them when they answer the phone? I just want the people who work there to think twice about their jobs.
It seems to me that it is harrassment either way, them calling you or you calling them, however, intentional harrassment can be illegal.
However, if you call them and ask them the questions they ask you, and behave like you are the telemarketer, what’s the difference? Are they on a "do not call" list? That would be your only downfall.
Good luck with that, let me know how it comes out. I have a few telemarketers I’d like to do that to, as well.
i would like to become an imagineer at Walt disney world and design rides, attractions, shows as well as put stories to each one i have read up on some schools but am looking for a more definative answer if anyone of you have gone to any schools for this i would greatly appreciate any information or anyone else who is trying to get into WDI ( walt disney imagineers ) and would like to share any information i would greatly appreciate it.
Disney's Imagineering Department is made up of employees with a wide range of job titles and job responsibilities, and therefore, as you might well imagine a wide variety of educational backgrounds. No one at Imagineering conceptualizes a new attraction, designs it, budgets it, builds it, scripts it, and trains employees to operate it - new attractions grow from the cooperative work of many, many different people that contribute to Disney's multi-million dollar projects.
If you want to study towards the goal of becoming a Disney Imagineer, you need to give some thought to the particular aspects of project design that interest you. Right now, on the Disney career site, there are several openings for positions in Imagineering:
Here's a couple:
Project architect: Prepares architectural design and construction contract documents, provides administrative and technical direction to in-house architects, as well as outside consultants, monitors progress of work through all phases of design and construction and ensures conformance to code standards. This is a very high level position, which requires an architectural license in either California or Florida AND a minimum of at least 12 years experience as a large scale project director, detailed knowledge of CAD design, and a host of other criteria.
A mechanical engineer associate is engaged in concept design and mock-ups, stress testing and prototype manufacturing. To qualify for this position, you would need at least a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering, though the job description suggests that a masters degree is desired.
The are no jobs listed at the moment for cartoonists or animators, but obviously, applicants for those sorts of positions would require a completely different academic background.
It really doesn't matter what college you go to, so long as you go to a university that is respected for the academic rigor of its programs. What's more important is that you engage in a course of study that will prepare you for some specific type of position that you are interested in. But note, however, that Disney Imagineering is rarely an entry level career opportunity - most of the prominent positions at Disney go to well-established, veteran members of their profession, with significant track records of accomplishment for other companies and firms.
You mentioned a specific interest in concept artist/illustrator positions - obviously, you'll need to find a school with a graphic arts program that offers the very latest in technology and skilled faculty.
I wish you the best of luck - it would really be an amazing opportunity to be offered a position as one of Disney's Imagineers.
I bought some shares in October 2007, recommendations and approvals, were done end of January 2008, I sold some of my shares mid February 2008 thinking I will be gaining the cash bonuses and dividends for that year wholly ,but I just was given so many because of the shares I sold before the general meeting which took place beginning of March.
This would depend on what sort of contract you have. If these were open market transactions, my guess would be yes, but it's not entirely clear what sort of bonuses are involved.
I know if I left my husband and kept our children I would get $150 maybe $200 a month that is 25% of his income. That is not a enough to pay childcare or electric and water bill. People complain all the time about child support. Some women get pregnant just to get child support. I think child support should calculate the child’s share of water, electric, gas, rent (or if you buy a house it should be a smaller portion because it is cheaper to buy than rent) half of the clothing (clothing does not have to be name brand) and half of the food the child eats.
Honestly I feel that it should be joint custody where one parents has the child for one week than switch or two weeks than switch or a month than switch up to 6 months than switch with the 6 month switching I think that should only take place if the parents move farther away from each other like out of state.
People need to understand what the basics of life are electric, water, phone, rent, food, and clothes. If the custody parents has to buy a pair of jeans for $200 that is unreasonably especially since you can buy jeans at walmart or resale shops for a lot cheaper. People need to choice what is important and how to live within their means.
What is your opinion on the subject?
kisses come in five
you are right I did forget childcare. I guess because me and my husband do opposite shifts. I work during the day five days a week he works over night 3 to 4 nights a week. I am really good at budgetting and my kids do get hand me downs from their friends. My kids are still very young and I would want them to always know both of their parents even if that meant co-living with their father when the feelings aren't there. My profile tells you more about me.
I have seen how my mother spent child support money, it was on drugs not on us. I guess that are were my feelings come from seeing how an unfit mother spent money.
Most the time when i see a child suport question here on answers the problem actually stems from the person that has custody of the child being unable to support themselves even if they didn’t have the child. Child support has become the means by which they support themselves not just the child.
Just think about it if your making $10/hr and working 40 hrs a week that means after taxes and such it comes to about $1100/month take home. Most 2 bedroom apartments these days are going from $500-$750/month (that’s assuming a half way decent area to live in), figure between gas and electric and cable $300 month.. So let’s say $800/month just for rent and utilities, that leaves $300 for gas, food, car, insurance, clothing etc etc each month. Which means that person is walking a tight rope financially when it comes down to just getting by each month. So that $200/month that you would get from child support becomes quite necessary, if anything should happen like car repairs etc etc etc. Basicall you get one parent arguing that they need it to survive and support the child, while you have the other parent arguing that they are just supporting the spouse that they are no longer married to.
Ideally, yea it should be forget the child support and one parent keeps them for 1/2 the year and the other gets them the rest of the time. Problem with that is you get too many that want to use their children as weapons in the on going fight between ex spouses. And in the “His/Her place isn’t safe enough for my child” arguement and it becomes a huge convulted mess.
Problem really isn’t with child support, it lies more with how we raise our children. If we didn’t fill little girls heads with all these silly romantic notions and fairy tales, and instead really prepared them for the real world a lot of things that are wrong in our society wouldn’t happen.
Face it, if we taught little girls that hey they need to go out and build a career. Then taught them how relationships really work, and get them to understand that these fairy tales don’t exist, and that relationships are a lot of hard work, and get them to understand that rushing into a marriage and having children isn’t a great idea, until they are absolutely sure the guy they are with is stable and that they actually have been with the guys long enough to know for sure who they are marrying. In fact given todays society, i’d say there should be laws in place prohibiting child birth before the age of 25 (just stick those 5 yr birth control things in girls starting at like age 13).
Then maybe just maybe they would go to college, build a career with which they can easily provide for themselves without a man. Then find a man and get to really know him well enough to get married and have chldren with him. Then perhaps there would be no where near as many divorces, and if it did happen they would be able to support themselves and their children without having to depend on child support.
We have BT Broadband with wires and a modem box. Our PC is old and slow and probably not wireless enabled. My G4 laptop is wireless enabled. What do we need to buy and do to make it all lovely and wireless so we can share the internet connection at the same time? Will I need to find IP addresses and passwords to get it to work on the Mac?
Thanks for your help!
Vicki
You already have a modem, buy a router - links, D-link, 2wire or any other router in the market, there is no need to upgrade your account or service with BT you only need a router, to configure it its simple if you dont have STATIC IP addresses configure your router using PPP configuration it only requires you to type in your email address and password to authenticate to BT's servers. then your good. As for Configuration you need not worry its plug and play if its not going to work you can call router's support number for free within 1 year. As for the PC you can make use of the erthenet port of the router but if you wana go wireless for PC that is also possible purchase a wireless adapter, for Apple there should be no problem with that piece of hardware.
