If anyone can share their views? issues? I spent 550 on a new timing belt and water pump 6 weeks ago and they let me have old belt to see. IT WAS IN A1 SHAPE! Had I know about timing belt and understood that NEVER WOULD HAVE BOUGHT A CAR W/ BELT IT’S CRAP. My black car has a horrible haze in it on the hood, trunk n top crappy paint I am sure. Had it detailed looked good 5 months. Then a guy today at AAMCO tells me the car will start to change and before 100 k miles will act and sound like a cheap 4 CLY car. that Kia and HYUNDAI makes these cars with cheap crap. This was the 2nd time I heard most of what they put on is cheap. I have a back light leak that gets the trunk wet and my front lights cont to blow once a yr and we think now water poss gets in and sealed cheaply. Wheel covers were replaced once free now these too peel ugly. I have 60 k miles on it and its been paid off for 6 months. Now wished I had gone with an ACCORD or Ford. Its now making a noise in the Serpentine belt area and they took that off did work for 50.00 because they felt sorry that ever since I got timing belt and this cold snap hit the car is not the same no more. It doesn’t chirp but I still hear a noise that’s louder then it use to be 4 yrs ago. the AC smells has since the end of 1st summer. And I heard weird noise now when AC runs as I give car gas. Once in blew as car first gets going I may get like a jerk, trans has been checked on a machine and trans fluid changed. But these pull backs it trans or engine cannot handle gas with Ethanol in it. I was sold on this 100 K warranty and what Car trend was saying. MISTAKE Hyundai were horrible cars in late 80 and in the 90’s and resale is horrible………….. Stay clear of these cars to buy used and with a chain now in car I would not buy it new. If belt breaks your engine is a mess poss ruined. People loose jobs etc and cannot afford to own cars like this to drain you, and the haze makes me ashamed of car paint I am sure is cheap. At times I think recalls should be made on these cars.

Boy I’m SOOOO glad you got a chance to tell your story and EXPOSE Hyundai like this. MAN I thought my 2001 HYUNDAI ELANTRA WITH 155,000 MILES ON IT was a good car. Now I’m rethinking my position. The paint looks good enough to the point people think it’s a newer car but since YOUR paint is turning all bad and stuff ALL Hyundai paints jobs must bad! I’m glad you cleared that up! I changed my belts twice already for about $250 each time. But since YOU paid over $500 I’m not sure I would want to pay for another one. Replacing those damn $5, $10 and $30 belts every 4 years can add up!
EVERY ONE KNOWS AAMCO! IS THE PLACE TO GO FOR EVERYONES CAR. I don’t care what people say about them! http://www.ripoffreport.com/search/company/AAMCO.aspx
Why should I trust MY mechanic of 10 years when AAMCO http://www.consumeraffairs.com/automotive/aamco.htm is THE place go because YOU went there!

LOLOLOLOLOL!

- You had to change the belt and water pump (normal maintenance)

- The 6 year old paint has a "haze" to it. (Did you bother detailing it at least every year to avoid oxidation?)

- The AAMCO guy……..really? I know AAMCO has good and bad shops but they aren’t the "authority" on cars. Plus now all of a sudden because the AAMCO guy says something the car is "crap" now . After 6 years of service you’re taking the opinion of one guy….. over how well the car is actually running for you?

- The A/C smells. (When was the last time you had an A/C service done?)

- The back light leaks…..Get a new assembly (100 bucks)

- Car jerks sometimes…….It may not even be the transmission. Did your AAMCO guy check for any engine codes? Did you ever tune the car? Forgot, the AAMCO guy pulled an opinion out of his ^$$ and that’s enough for you.

Sorry, your car sounds like the average 6 year old car. Minor problems crop up in the best of them after 6 years and you can’t get mad at Hyundai for not reading your manual when it comes to regular maintenance. If anything get angry at your dealer for not tell you about maintenance. All you spent was $600 over 6 years and now the car is crap? If you think it’s crap I’ll take it off your hands for $600, deal?

Tips For Becoming the Best Salesperson in Timeshare

Posted on Feb 21, 2010 under Time Share Resales | No Comment

So you’re selling timeshares. But how well do you do it? Timeshares have evolved over the years, making them very popular with vacation goers, frequent travelers and those looking to own a piece of resort paradise. That means if you choose to sell timeshares today, expect to be in the company of tough competitors. You need to do all you can to get noticed, stand out, become preferred by potential clients and actually sell. Here are tips on how to be the best salesperson in timeshare:

Be in the right timeshare company.

The timeshare company you work with will have a huge impact on how well you will be able to share timeshares. This industry has increased in popularity over the years, which has made it an unfortunate target of scams and sneaky dealers.

If you want to be the best salesperson there is in timeshare, find the right company to work with. The most reputable companies will benefit you in more ways than one. Being affiliated with them makes you a more trustworthy salesperson to potential buyers. And if you have a high level of reliability, you’re more likely to sell quickly.

Get the right kind of exposure for your product.

This is another reason why you need to be working with the right timeshare company. A good, reliable company will help you get sufficient exposure for your timeshare. If the company is reliable, it’s likely to be popular with consumers and potential buyers. That should help you find the right market segment for your timeshare.

Make sure to check out the timeshare company you’re considering. Find out how they fare in terms of popularity with the market and what type of buyers they attract. If it matches your requirements, then that’s where you ought to sell from.

Have good timing.

If you’re looking to make a profit in selling timeshares, know that in most cases, that’s more the exception rather than the rule. So make sure you maximize your opportunity by selling when demand is high. Never try to sell a timeshare in the off-season, unless it’s absolutely necessary and you’re desperate.

Sell the right stuff.

Don’t shake off your maintenance responsibilities on your timeshare property. One of the best ways you can make it desirable is to keep it clean and well-maintained. If you haven’t been keeping up, it’s high time that you do. You can’t be the best salesperson in timeshare if what you’re selling is unwanted or unappealing.

Understand your market.

Just as not everybody will buy a Tommy Hilfiger shirt, not everyone you market to will be interested in buying a timeshare. If you want to be the best salesperson in timeshare, make sure you understand the kind of appeal your product has to the market. What type of demographics will your timeshare attract? Who are these buyers and what types of purchases do they prefer?

Make your prices competitive.

It’s a sad but true fact that once you decide to sell your timeshare, you cannot realistically expect it to sell at a higher price than what you bought it for. In some cases, your timeshare could get you as low as 50% of the original price you bought it for. But that’s to be expected because that’s how this industry goes. So when it’s time to sell, make sure that your prices are competitive and aggressive enough to attract the right buyers.

Do research.

You might want to perform a background check on how well your timeshare company has performed in the past. If you want to be the best salesperson in timeshare, you need to have statistics on your side. Check whether resales in the past have been successful and determine if the numbers will work for you.
