Going to Disney and want to get ID for the kids. I heard about kid safety bands. Any feedback to share? Any input would be appreciated.
thanks

Yes, I bought kid safety bands when we went to Disney. Thank God we didn’t have to use them ourselves. Funny thing happened while we were waiting on line. A little boy, about 5 years old, was crying hysterically, we assumed it was from a ride. Turns out the child couldn’t find his mother. It was so sad. I was glad my three had their bands on. This kid was so agitated and shaking and crying. Finally security came and located the mother..it happens. The kid safety bands are so worth it. They’re only $4.75 each, that with shipping! Tattoos can fade, and putting your childs name for everyone to see is probably not a good idea either. I recommend the kid safety band, with "If found please call" and your cell number.

When my sister and I went to disney world my mom just had id cards made for us with our picture, age, phone number, address. ETC.

WE were to wear them on our person at all times. And when we were older and went on school trips away from home. (I went to atlanta, she went to florida and dc) it was the same deal. Wear our id cards on us at all times. Not in a purse or in a wallet but on us.

    I think that works.

I don’t know about kid safety bands but i’m sure its something to look into. (I’m sure if it was an option my mom would have liked to put a GPS in our clothes sometimes….lol)

One thing that my cousin does for her son, a wanderer if there ever was one, is to write on his back in Sharpie. She puts her name and cell phone number on his back, under his shirt. That way, if he ever wanders away, he knows to tell someone to call his Mom and shows them the phone number. It has only happened once that he wandered, and that was at Six Flags. He was quickly reunited with the family.

I have these temp tatttoos. I use them when we’re going to large places, it’s visible on their arm, it say " If I am lost, please call…..000-000-0000" They also have ones that say "I have a peanut allergy" I am autistic" etc. I love them because they’re easy to see and can’t be lost
