Has anyone heard of Immediate Acquisitions, LLC?

I received a postcard from this company called Immediate Acquisitions saying that they would be in my area and they would acquire my Marriott Vacation weekly time-share unit I unfortunately own. We paid a lot of money for the unit but now we just want out of it. The yearly maintenance fees are way too expensive and are going up every year. The sad part is that we have paid 3 different companies that said they would sell it for us, but we didn’t even get one phone call!!
On the mailing from Immediate Acquisitions, LLC it says that they are not a listing or resale company and don’t charge an up-front fee of any kind and that makes me feel better about them. I just want to get out from under this unit. Everything I’ve read about this outfit has been positive, so that makes me think that I finally might be able to get rid of my timeshare but I thought I would turn to my friends on here to get the answer to my question.
Can I trust this company? Will they acquire my unit, and is there really no up-front fee? Thank you in advance for your complete answers to this. It is important to me.
My husband and I met with Immediate Acquisitions, LLC in January. They took over our 3 Wyndham Fairfield contracts. I was paying almost $200 a month for those timeshare units and we hardly ever had a chance to use them. I felt so stupid for buying 3 but one of the other people had 6 units they were transferring to Immediate Acquisitions.
To answer your question, they were very professional and no they do not charge an up front fee. If they would have tried we wouldn’t have worked with them.
I highly recommend this company. I just wish we would have found them sooner.

I’m sorry you bought a timeshare. My sister bought one in Branson of all places and did the same thing trying to sell a lot of times. No luck… Now she just pays the bill every year. I have not heard of Immediate Acquisitions but I say give them a call.
It is worth a shot unless you have a better idea of how to get rid of your unit. You know you will never be able to sell it. I’m going to tell my sister to call too. I just went to their website and it looks professional.

Why would anyone buy a timeshare??? I just call the resorts I want to go to and rent it from them.. It’s dumb to be locked into maintenance charges and fees for assessments every year. gross.. I say dump that thing. It is not 1995 anymore folks!

I came on here to ask the same question. I got the same mailer and scheduled an appointment in San Jose this weekend. I’m excited, maybe this is my chance to get out of these maintenance fees! I’ve also tried to sell on two different occasions.
Most of the companies in the timeshare industry are shady, but if this Immediate Acquisitions company doesn’t charge any fee up front I don’t see what the risk is. It seems to be a reputable company to me. I’m calling them now. I’ll let everyone know how it goes.

Timeshares are terrible to own!
A word of warning: Don’t pay a listing company to sell your unit. You won’t sell it. Sounds like Immediate Acquisitions, LLC doesn’t charge an up-front fee. I say go for it. Stop spending money on that thing now! It’s already worth less than $0, why would you stay in your contract and keep paying?
I say you need to get out of your unit and RENT if you want to go someplace and stop feeling obligated to use something you otherwise wouldn’t.

I LOVE renting other people’s timeshares for less than they pay in maintenance. Why would anyone own??

I agree that you should call them up and schedule an appointment. I really don’t see where you have anything to lose.
One thing I am certain about is that timesharing is an old way of traveling. The units are already worthless and nobody is buying them. If you can find someone to take it off your hands it’s worth it.
Millions of timeshare owners will never even find someone willing to take their unit because of the perpetual nature of the fees, and the fact that the bills for the unit are later inherited. The other terrible part of timesharing is you have to pay whether you use it or not, and there is no cap on the amount they raise the bills every year…
If you love your resort, do what some of the others have said above and just rent it from another owner that is stuck in the fees. It’s not smart to own a timeshare. As travel methods change (internet) I fear that millions of people will be stuck with no way out.
