A broadcaster for the BBC’s Inside Out programme smothered his ailing lover to spare him from “terrible pain”.
Detectives are to launch an investigation after a BBC presenter told TV viewers that he carried out a mercy killing on a former lover who was suffering from Aids.

I thought that truth and morality are RELATIVE to the individual. The only way to resolve conflicts involving “rights” or “morality” is through a referendum. It seems that in certain States, the gays are in a minority and they just don’t like it. Too bad. That’s the way life works in a democracy. Religion has nothing to do with it. The Hedonists were so eager to destroy absolute standards of morality but now that they get a taste of moral relativism they don’t like it.
