Can I sue my time-share if I am injured while staying there?

Posted on Sep 29, 2009 under Time Share |

I slipped in my room, 30 minutes after arriving. Told Reception, Check-in, and manager of time-share. When I returned from my vacation, found out I had a compressed fracture in my vertebrae, and bruised tendons in my foot. I have had surgery to repair the fracture. What can I do about lost wages, and expenses incurred seeing my doctors?

Was the slip caused by some negligence on the part of the time-share? If you just slipped, you can’t sue. They have to someone be at fault.

why did you slip? was a step poorly maintained? did you trip over loose carpeting? was it in any way the fault of those responsible for maintaining the time share? if so, see a lawyer, if you were simply clumsy, and they can prove up- keep with a record of maintenance, then you have no case.
